Ron Brandon and fellow veterans started Veterans Refuge in 2023. Our Organization is structured with a Commander, Secretary, Treasure, Chaplain, and Sgt. at Arms.
Our primary purpose is to offer support and services to combat veterans and law enforcement. We accomplish this by sharing experiences, fellowship, teaching, and offering help with fuel, food, clothing, and whatever we can do. We also offer counseling and referrals to professionals when and if it is needed.
We offer prayer and concern at our meetings, as well as having a good time, refreshments, and most importantly… to provide a safe environment for all.
Our members are composed of Vietnam veterans, both men and women, through to the O.E.F. and O.I.F. (The Persian Gulf Wars, Afghanistan, Somalia and others). We also attempt to obtain grants for members in some cases, depending on the circumstances. DD-214 or law enforcement documentation. This is mandatory to become a member. No dues are required.
